Taking a break from automotive projects (well, almost) ventured full blown in second love, energy, and ran portions of “National Heating and Cooling Information Center” working with Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute on contract to HUD and DOE.
We developed manuals, brochures and other solar energy and renewable energy communications and exhibit support and deployed it nationally.at shows around the country, I spoke at relevant professional meetings - and even designed the information center logo.
Quite an undertaking, this project truly put the word out on solar and what we felt it might due for individuals and the country – despite the fact that solar was actually years away from true viability was unknown to us. We told what we knew, around the country, and program was quite rewarding to those of us who believed what we said.
SERVED AS EXEXTOVE EDITOR of Chilton's Energy Newsletter, covering total energy -- oil, gas, coal, geothermal and solar -- on a global scale with Special Reports interspersing general news coverage.
